thruYou Comes Thru Mosaic for Website Rework

thru You is an interesting idea. It’s a place where you can make donations to any registered charity in Canada. That part is not new. What is new is the idea of keeping track of your charitable giving, and your tax receipts, all in one place. thruYou lets you, in effect, create your own charitable foundation consisting of the charities or causes you support, and letting you designate your giving to them in percentages. Plus there’s an affinity credit credit (a % of your spending goes to your thruYou account) and you get a tax receipt for that too. thruYou also introduced “Give Cards”. They’re like gift cards, but the recipient chooses which charity to give the face value of the card to.
When thruYou came to Mosaic, they were looking for major improvements to their website for both its existing members as well as for potential new ones. They also needed a redemption facility for the Give Cards. Mosaic over-delivered and also provided a brand new positioning for thruYou while working on the site.
