Ortho-What? Mosaic Revamps Website for Valtus Imagery Services

One of the great things about being an agency is you learn something new every day. You even learn about product categories or services you didn’t know existed. Such was the case with Valtus Imagery Services.
Valtus is a leader in ortho-photography. What is that? Well, from the new website: “Unlike an uncorrected aerial photograph, an orthophotograph can be used to measure true distances, because it is an accurate representation of the earth’s surface, having been adjusted for topographic relief, lens distortion, and camera tilt.” Ortho-photography (and its cousin, LIDAR) is used by the oil & gas industry, land developers, and whole host of other industries.
With plans to expand its market, Valtus wanted a brand new web interface as well as rework for its online store. Mosaic worked closely with the Valtus team to work through a new user experience and, as usual, included some new branding and positioning in the project as well.
